For those not cycling, or if you simply want a day out of the saddle, there is so much to do in the surrounding area. Each day offers a new adventure whether it be climbing, walking, via ferrata, or an exhilarating mountain bike ride. There's also golf, tennis, horseback riding, swimming and kayaking.
Summer Relaxing
For those that would like to take it at a more gentle pace there is plenty on offer. Pretty mountain villages with plenty of markets and fetes to visit. Also once the summer roads are open, a trip to Italy to enjoy ice cream and pasta is a great day out. And of course, wine and antique fairs are always worth a visit.
For those that like to enjoy the scenery, flora and fauna, once the surrounding high mountain cols open in the summer months plants, berries and wild alpine flowers become abundant.
